The Hong Kong Tourism Board is proud to announce its partnership with leading London Restaurant Mews of Mayfair. The food promotion will take place in Lancashire Court from 12th-25th September 2011.
Mews’ Chef Alan Marchetti will be working with Chef Tsang Chiu King, Executive Chef of two-Michelin starred restaurant, Ming Court, Langham Place Hotel, Hong Kong to serve diners a specially crafted Hong Kong menu for a limited period. Head Chef Alan Marchetti commented: “We at Mews are very excited to be involved in the Hong Kong food promotion, especially working alongside Chef Tsang. It will be a fantastic opportunity to recreate some of his famous Asian dishes and help to establish Hong Kong cuisine in London.”
“I am thrilled to be coming to London, a city renowned for its world class restaurants and vibrant dining scene. My Hong Kong menu at Mews of Mayfair will allow diners to experience the best of Hong Kong in London” said Chef Tsang.
The two-week food promotion will be part of “Hong Kong – Live in London” which includes a Hong Kong themed street festival 12th-18th September 2011 on South Molton Street. Dawn Page, Director – UK & Northern Europe, Hong Kong Tourism Board added: “We are delighted to bring the best of Hong Kong to London; showcasing the vibrant, cosmopolitan fusion of east and west through its cuisine and culture.”
The Festival will celebrate the Best of Hong Kong – Asia’s World City bringing culture, food & wine and fun together.
